What is known simply as The Underground is a lengthy expanse of unused train tunnels and side passages, leading all through the depths of the city. It is not uncommon to find small communities of homeless people and dogs alike down here, and it is all too easy to become lost and disoriented in the endless maze of darkness.

With passages leading to places all across the city, the subway station is a popular place for the citizens of Saratov. It does a fair job of attracting the canine residents as well, even without the tempting aromas of the food court, located just feet from the loading platform.
