When Matvey Udovin lived, he was a terror to young and old alike- a skeleton of a man with a beard which grows longer with each telling of his harrowing exploits. Some said he was a wizard and a thief of children, others a demon, murderer, and cannibal. Either way, when he disappeared no man was eager to search his haunted house and see if he yet lived, so it has slowly fallen victim to the elements.
